Where do you go when you have questions about firestop?
Hopefully you have a favorite firestop manufacturer. If you don’t, I recommend you get one, or two at a minimum. But know that they will be limited to the products they sell. A local building official is a great place to go as well, but depending on where you are and what experience they have, that might not be the best place. Both of those are like going to a general practitioner rather than a specialist. You will get answers that correlate to their experience.

We meet up once a month to go over a pre-planned topic, we address any questions the Crew brings up and if we have time we may do some freeform questions as well, but typically we have so many great questions from the crew that we don’t get to that.
