Penetrations in gypsum shaft walls

Does your project have gypsum shaft walls? If so, please DO NOT make this mistake. Watch the video and see what we are talking about. This was an older building, but I see this on new construction still today. Shafts are an easy way for fire to get through a building if it is not properly protected. Imagine the liability!!  No, scratch that- AVOID the liability.
