Perimeter Firestop Challenge- part 1 

There are a number of discussions related to the exterior facades and fire protection. For some time, building codes have required filling the gap between the concrete floor and the exterior facade of a building with materials that can prevent smoke and fire from moving to the upper floors. Developers have even created a test standard specifically for the unique dynamics of this application, addressing the Perimeter Firestop Challenge.
